Bill Walworth
Bill was awarded the CBE to the Civil Division of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire in the 2013 New Year's Honours List.
It was deserved because he had the particularly difficult task of steering the RFA through very troubled waters given the then upheaval in Defence Spending.
