Test your nerves and face your fears when you take on this epic abseil for Legasee!
Experience the most spectacular views across London from 80 metres above the ground!
Take in some of the city’s most iconic sights as you make your descent, including The Gherkin, St Paul’s, Canary Wharf, Wembley Stadium and The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
This is a thrilling challenge that requires very little prior experience or training. Our Wire & Sky abseil instructors will look after you every step of the way.
We will have food and refreshments, so bring plenty of people along to watch you complete this brave feat.

Why Should I Abseil for Legasee?

Legasee is a team of volunteer film makers, writers, designers and storytellers who are passionate about capturing our military heritage in an increasingly fast-moving consumer society. We provide students, teachers and researchers with unique access to a hi-definition video archive of interviews with Veterans of military conflict from 1939 to the present day.
We interview men and women who have interesting military stories. Individually every person we meet will share something amazing. Collectively they’re a priceless record of modern military history. If you think the work we’re doing is important, please sign up and support us.

Participant Information

Abseil participants must:


  • Be over 14 years of age (parental consent and supervision required if under 18).

  • Be over 1.2 metres in height.

  • Be less than 19 stone (120kg) in weight.

  • Be able to wear a harness which has a maximum width waist of 130 cm and a maximum upper thigh width of 75cm.

  • Not be suffering from any medical condition that may put your health & safety, or that of others, at risk.

  • Not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

  • Not be pregnant.

  • Sign a declaration before abseiling.
