In 1982, Howard Ormerod was serving onboard the merchant ship SS Atlantic Conveyor. On the 25th of May, the ship was attacked by two Argentine Navy Super Étendard jets and struck by two Exocet missiles. The ensuing fire killed twelve sailors. Howard provides a first-hand account of what he witnessed.
